Abstract :
Enterprise information systems (EIS) are the core to support an enterprise to cope with changing requirement and service. However, dynamic is hard to tackle in EIS. Enterprise isomorphic architecture (EIA) which has been studied in our earlier work with models and methods is to provide structural and semantic interoperability of EIS on the three levels of syntactic, semantic and pragmatic. Enterprise isomorphic mapping mechanism (EIMM) is on the pragmatic level as the core of EIA. EIMM deals with changing requirement and transform it from business to IT systems through a mechanism based on ontology hierarchy and keeps the transformation isomorphic. EIMM is aimed to keep the coherence of concept structure in order to prevent the transaction loss among domains and to facilitate business changes with simultaneous evolution of the IT infrastructure. In this paper, the definition and construction of EIMM based on semantic analysis and norm analysis is introduced. The mechanism for ontology mapping is to assist with the problem through connecting different aspects of EIS with a precise and coherent representation. Components and their relationships in each domain are endowed with correlated semantic interpretation.
