  • Abstract
An antibacterial compound was isolated and purified from the secondary metabolites of the Streptomyces roseogilvus var. marinus strain and structure anlysis by ESI-MS and NMR. The results showed that molecular formula of antibacterial compound was C22H27O7N3S, and its molecular structure agreed well with griseoviridin producing from terrestrial microorganisms. Streptomyces roseogilvus var. marinus is a new potential griseoviridin-producing strain by our knowledge. It is first reported that griseoviridin is isolated from the marine-derived actinomycete.
