Abstract
Channel order determination and delay estimation are important contents in parametric channel estimation. In this paper, an improved approach based on constant false alarm rate (CFAR) to detect the order of multipath channel is presented first. Then, delay estimation based on the estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) after order determination is conducted. Finally, the performance of delay estimation is analyzed in detail.
