Abstract :
We applied linear systems analysis to the temperature regulation of the human body. The body was decomposed into seven lumped compartments, head, the trunk and extremities each of them are divided to the skin and the muscle regions which are described by a cylindrical model. In the normal physiological state, the temperature system is stable but uncontrollable. The impulse responses in all the compartments of the body terminated within a finite time. By optimizing the feedback, the singular value of the system was reduced considerably
