Abstract :
Many applications of wireless sensor network are applied in three dimensional environments. The primary problem to be solved in these applications is three dimensional nodes positioning. In this paper, a new range-free three dimensional node positioning algorithm is proposed to address this problem. The implementation of the new algorithm is introduced. Simulation results show the new algorithm can accomplish node positioning process in three dimensional environments with low average positioning error.
