Abstract :
This paper proposes a new algorithm for signal emitter recognition. It can recognize different emitters using the results of the TDOA/AOA joint location algorithm. Simulation results show that the accurate recognition rate of TDOA/AOA joint location algorithm is higher than that of either the TDOA or AOA location algorithm. If the distance between different signal emitters is more than 800 meters, the accurate recognition rate will be higher than 90%. Additionally, the recognition rate is almost not affected by the arrangement of the location equipments.
