Abstract :
An electromagnetic flowmeter with double excitations is presented in this paper. An additional voltage excitation is induced to conventional electromagnetic flowmeter to measure flow and conductivity in fluid simultaneously. Principles and design methods are discussed and the fundamental equation for measurement is derived. Experiment results show that the electromagnetic flowmeter with double excitations can measure fluid conductivity.
