Abstract :
Gas-solid two-phase flow is widely used in the industrial process. It is important to know the parameters for the control of process. There are three ways to measure the velocity of the flow but the cross-correlation method and spatial filtering method are commonly used in the velocity measurements, so this article summarizes the fundamental principles of the two methods and their advantages and disadvantages. Also the future developments of the velocity measurements are included.
