Abstract :
This paper presents an experiment system to measure the moisture equilibrium curves of vegetable oil-paper insulation. The moisture equilibrium curves of vegetable oil-paper insulation are plotted by indirect methods. Comparison between the moisture-equilibrium curves of vegetable oil-paper insulation and those of mineral oil-paper insulation is also presented. The experiment and analysis results shows that the moisture content in vegetable insulating oil is much greater than that in mineral insulating oil at the same moisture content in insulation paper.
