Abstract
Recently, with the westernization of culture and eating habits, lifestyle-related diseases, such as cancer, heart disease, apoplexy, had become the main reason of people´s death in Japan. The accumulation of improper lifestyles such as stress, eating habits, smoking, drinking, is the inducement of the lifestyle-related disease. It is also found that lifestyle-related disease could be prevented with balanced lifestyles. Therefore, this research focuses on the construction of a health check and prediction system for lifestyle-related disease prevention by checking people´s condition and lifestyles in everyday life. In this paper, firstly, the vague concept of medical knowledge is quantified by using fuzzy sets. Secondly, based on the distance-type fuzzy reasoning method, a reasoning algorithm of health-check is built up. Furthermore, a method is proposed to predict the risk of lifestyle-related disease. Finally, the usability of proposed methods is verified by some experiments of developed health check and prediction system
