Abstract :
Nowadays, many embedded systems ranging from set-top boxes to mobile phones and PDAs are designed using complex multicore SoC platforms. For such platforms, the abundance of the computational resources places tremendous demands on the communication infrastructure. Consequently, the power management techniques suitable for such multicore platforms need to be driven by the concept of "network" which lies at the forefront of multicore processing.
