Abstract :
The design problem of guaranteed cost controller of a class of switched singular systems is studied. Based on linear matrix inequality technique, a sufficient condition on the existence of guaranteed cost state feedback controllers is derived, which assures that the switched singular system is admissible, and a corresponding cost index can be guaranteed. The design problem of the guaranteed cost controller can be turned into the solvable problem of a set of linear matrix inequalities. A numerical simulation example is employed to illustrate the effectiveness of this approach.
