Abstract :
This paper presents a new method of using time difference of arrival to locate moving sound source. The sound source localization method consists of three high accuracy pickup devices and a sound-guided robot system. This paper uses a SCM (MC9S12XDP512) with a wireless data transmission module (nRF24L01), a sound transmission system and a sound receiving system. The result proves this sound source localization method has the advantage of less sensors, high precision, fast localization, and simple data processing.
