Abstract :
Due to unpredictable topology change and frequent link failure, it becomes evident major challenge to provide the stable route between source and destination in mobile ad hoc networks. Different from previous multipath routing schemes, we develop a framework to establish the most stable single route against link failure between source and destination in order to achieve resilience to failure. We propose dynamic link failure and power aware reliable routing (LPAR) protocol. The reliability on each route is adaptively determined with measured frequency of link failure, available battery as well as the number of actual connections.
