Abstract :
The paper reports on recent development of a computer aided teaching software facility in the University of Melbourne´s Control Systems Laboratory. The software runs under X-Windows, and can be easily ported to most UNIX workstations. It enables students to perform, on line, complex tasks such as block diagram manipulation and reduction, and system analysis. The software is interfaceable with MATLAB which can be used for more advanced and complex system analysis and design
