Abstract :
This paper examines the characteristics of the new mobile satellite services of big LEOs: Globalstar, Iridium, Odyssey and ICO to identify frequency and modulation interference issues. It also details how each of the systems will re-use frequencies to obtain the maximum number of subscriber channels within their allowed bandwidth and discusses the interference issues between providers that are sharing the same spectrum
