Abstract :
Total RNA from Goose liver of 16 weeks old was isolated. The 365 bp cDNA segment was amplified by the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Sequence analysis showed that there is a high similarity between the fragment of cDNA and Sterol regulatory element binding protein-2 (SREBP-2) gene. This segment contains a bHLH motif, basic region and leucine zipper domain. Meanwhile, the bHLH motif has a structure of helix-loop-helix, and the two helixes integrate and form a zipper structure.
