Abstract :
The use of personal computers is investigated for the development of computer software for teaching/learning in the form of interactive tutorials for introductory-level electrical circuits. Formatting of presentation material as well as computer “look and feel” are addressed. The use of the tutorials or portions of tutorial material for lecture presentation is discussed. The preparation of tutorials for use in other curricula styles is addressed. Findings and experience are reported for the program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham
