Abstract :
Final report of ITU-T round robin measurement for nonlinear coefficient (n2/Aeff) of various optical fibers using Pulsed-LD SPM, CW-LD SPM, XPM and Modulated signal-SPM methods is presented. The relationship between (n2/Aeff) and effective area (Aeff), and also between nonlinear refractive index n2 and Aeff are first demonstrated.
