Abstract :
This paper describes the calibration of a high power and high accuracy transfer standard based on an integrating sphere radiometer to be used for power levels ranging from -40 dBm to +30 dBm. The integrating sphere radiometer has been calibrated in the spectral range of 1250 nm to 1650 nm, using an electrically calibrated pyroelectric radiometer and four tuneable laser diodes. The total uncertainty obtained is lower than ± 1.4% for these wavelength andpower ranges.
