Abstract :
The main purpose of this work consists of the study and analysis of the PBG (photonic band gap) technology incorporated in optical fiber structures. Results are presented with and without the presence of these structures, with the intent of carrying out a comparison between the conventional optical fiber and the photonic bandgap optical fiber.
