Abstract :
The stresses in the drill tip with different geometrical angle were analyzed by using ANSYS software for the cemented carbide drill bits of the same specification. Next, cemented carbide bit has been manufactured based on the analytical results. Machinability test shows that this can increase the strength of the bit twice and prolong the life of it doubled.
