  • Abstract
The mass application of small collector machines (SCM) in various areas, especially in the home as electric drives for a wide range of kitchen equipment, house cleaning appliances and electric tools is a feature of the modern level of engineering development. However there is some kind of contradiction between the growing need in SCM with increased operation indices and their improvement within the traditional point of view to their design. The problems of commutation improvement, radioparasites level decrease and intensity of collector-brush unit wear process, and also the collector electrical machines of low power efficiency improvement by use of damped armature windings are considered
