Abstract :
The temporal and spectral differences of click-evoked otoacoustic emissions (CEOAEs) under different click intensities have been elaborated. However, CEOAE nonlinearities regarding frequency changes along with time, or time-frequency (TF) pattern dependence on stimulus intensity have been barely acknowledged so far. The analysis of shape and localization of the pattern on the time-frequency plane and the comparison of pattern differences establish a method to extract more underlying information from CEOAEs. In this article, we have proposed a new idea of describing CEOAE signals based on primary components on the time-frequency plane under different click intensities and reported the interesting feature of group similarities in those TF patterns.
