Abstract :
Based on complex charge simulations method, this paper presents three dimensional electrostatic models of suspension insulator with local arc. By calculating results, the polluted insulators´ flashover characters including clearing, pollution, dry belt and appearing local arc along insulator surface are analysis systematically in view point of “field”
