Abstract :
An instrument module and optical bench integrated thermal model has been developed at GSFC. This instrument module consist of three instruments- burst alert telescope (BAT), X-ray telescope (XRT) and ultraviolet optical telescope (UVOT). A simplified spacecraft bus thermal model is also included in the integrated mode. It is used to generate environmental heat fluxes and radiation couplings. The technique to generate effective sink temperature, and the results and validation for the proposed technique for the UVOT are presented.
