Abstract :
The vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) is a key component to protect electric devices in power receiving and distribution systems. In recent years, the need for a reduction in running costs such as maintenance of VCB as well as the initial cost has arisen. Against this background, we developed BMA (balanced magnetic actuator)-applied VCB which can reduce the number of parts and the sliding elements in the operating mechanism by reducing the maintenance as the operation mechanism of VCB.
