Abstract :
Profiling of elemental composition in flames gives important information on mixing of fuels and oxidizers. In this study, spatial distributions of constituent elements, hydrogen, carbon (fuel), nitrogen and oxygen (oxidizer) in a methane/air premixed flame were successfully measured by laser-induced plasma spectroscopy (LIPS).
