Abstract :
Frequent pattern mining has been an emerging and active field in data mining research. There is a huge collection of data from the hi-tech communication equipments associated with moving objects. To find the frequent patterns existing in this data and derive knowledge out of it is of great concern. Frequently occurring paths of flying object trajectories are data dependent and cannot be derived before they are known. In this paper such trajectories are obtained by a novel approach of variable block box counting method. In this approach, variable block boxes are created using spacial coordinates. The number of spacial coordinates in each box and its neighboring boxes determines the frequently occurring trajectories. This path is established by applying the data mining concepts and by using a new kind of relationship from the spacial Euclidean coordinate dataset. Also this may be applied to interesting game domains to find the frequent trajectories of balls shot by players in games.
