Abstract :
GMPLS based all-optical network is the key to maintain the quality of transmission, to reduce operational cost as well as to facilitate the enhancement of all-optical network capabilities. The deployment of peer model for GMPLS-based unified optical control plane enables extension of peer entities, such as monitoring equipment to detect traffic condition and quality condition of dedicated flow. As the real implementations of an optical control plane are still not clear. So, the best way to resolve tactical implementations concerns of GMPLS based optical control plane is to conduct feasibility evaluation. In this paper, we proposed a non-standard optical control device, such as FBG-based tunable CD compensator as a peer entity. We deployed GMPLS peer model and evaluate the feasibility of it in order to realize optical quality control label path.
