Abstract
A new approach to application of antenna array in asynchronous DS-CDMA systems, which is based on joint spatio-code processing, is proposed. Matched and MVDR filter structures in joint space-code domain are formulated. The simplest structure of DS-CDMA receiver based on joint spatio-code filtering is proposed. Numerical results show that proposed receiver is “near-far” robust, without additional complicated processing, especially if a spatio-code MVDR filter is applied
