  • Abstract
Along with the improvement of medical technologies, the demand for rehabilitation therapy is increasing. However, paper-based methods are still used in most rehabilitation therapy rooms to record patient data, which is very inconvenient. In addition, since the rehabilitation therapy records and schedules in the therapy rooms are created manually, human errors and equipments being left idle are inevitable. If the rehabilitation therapy procedure could be recorded in an automatic manner, the errors caused by manual operations could be reduced and the situation of resources being left idle could be avoided. Therefore, this paper proposed an automatic real-time localization and therapy course tracking system for rehabilitants. The system adopted the active RFID localization technology. It could simultaneously calculate the rehabilitant´s location and the duration of treatment, and automatically record the rehabilitation course of the rehabilitant, so as to improve the management efficiency of the rehabilitation therapy course.
