Abstract :
The paper describes the hydrophobicity and the leakage current behavior on model insulators under salt-fog conditions. In addition, an evaluation of the wetting behavior of artificially deposited solid layers during the hydrophobicity transfer process is presented in form of current-impulse-voltage characteristics on reproducibly dewed insulators
