Abstract :
A dual-loop resistive-feedback power-to-current amplifier circuit to be implemented in SiGe or GaAs IC technology is presented. Simulation results indicate that any technology process with NFmin < 0.3 dB and fT > 20 GHz is able to achieve an overall noise figure less than 0.5 dB, an input return loss less than -15 dB and flat gain over a frequency range from 0.6 GHz to 1.6 GHz
