Abstract :
This work describes a power conversion circuit topology for single-phase DC/AC boost inverter, based on the DC/DC boost converter. It mainly consists of a full-bridge boost converter, which is capable of providing AC output voltage regulation with low distortion. The proposed inverter performs single power conversion, which minimizes switching losses and attains higher efficiency as compared with conventional booster inverter. The steady state operating principle of power circuit topology and control strategy are described. A multiloop structure controller is used and is capable of guaranteeing a high quality dynamic performance. Computer simulations demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed boost inverter.
