Abstract
In this paper an economic approach to integration of power control and base station (BS) assignment for the reverse DS-CDMA link is presented. The iterative algorithm amenable to decentralized implementation is proposed and its convergence is proven numerically. The local network capacity in the congested area and the saving in mobile power are evaluated through numerical study
