Abstract
This paper presents NPME/NT, a tool for performance measurement of networks that work under the Windows NT operating system. The tool is organized as a network performance measurement environment (NPME) that includes a network workload generator, and a control system that automatically distributes the workload to each node of the network and generates files containing performance indicators. We present the concepts of NPME, the implementation of NPME/NT, and experimental results of using the tool
