Abstract :
An analytical expression of average Symbol Error Probability (ASEP) for general order rectangular QAM is derived for a dual hop cooperative diversity system where a source node communicate with a destination node directly and indirectly(through a single relay) over independent and not identical Nakagami-m fading channel. A pdf based approach is used to derive the expression considering sufficiently large end to end signal to noise ratio (SNR) for source-relay link. Numerically evaluated results are plotted and verified with simulation results.
