Abstract
The text and the graphics in a paper can each be judged for two quality considerations: message and presentation. Although we are usually most concerned with the text, it is part of the job of the reviewer to consider the graphical aspects of technical papers. The content and usefulness of the graphs, as well as the appropriateness and clarity of the graphs, must be evaluated.
