Abstract :
A growing number of wireline operators is migrating their PSTN networks to NGN based networks, frequently being TISPAN IMS platforms. As a consequence the number and importance of IP-NNI based interconnections to other carriers increases. Testing carefully those interfaces in an end-to-end aspect must be in the focus of operators to guarantee proper working, specification compliance and full interoperability. This paper examines the requirements relevant for ICP end-to-end tests and shows the implementation of an interconnection test system simulating several ICPs.
