Abstract :
In this paper, an efficient selective receiver for space-time block coding (STBC) scheme is proposed. The performance comparison between the proposed structure and MRRC is analyzed. This proposed scheme separates the received STBC signals into divided groups to eliminate the interference. The interference from the neighboring signals in the same symbol can be reduced almost by half. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme leads to improved performance under Rayleigh fading channels. Especially under imperfect channel estimation, it can achieve more than 10 dB gains over the conventional MRRC scheme.
