Abstract :
Documents are an invaluable resource of information. They store knowledge represented in free text that is hard to acquire, share and reuse automatically. This paper proposes OntoQuestion, an ontologies-based framework for factoid question answering on abstracts. This framework can be used as a reference architecture to develop ontological question answering systems. We describe the components of this framework and we propose the outlines to evaluate the effectiveness of the OntoQuestion-based QA systems.
