Abstract :
It has been a long-term challenge for the detection of trace explosives for life safety and anti-terrorist. Here, a miniaturized networked sensor for trace explosive detection is presented, which is based on fluorescent quenching of a conjugated polymer. The principle and design of the miniaturized sensors network are described and a serial of experiments are conducted to demonstrate the effective working of the miniaturized sensors network. The detection resolution of the explosive sensor for TNT vapor is down to 50 ppt in air, convincing the system is potentially applicable to wireless sensor network.
