Abstract :
This paper introduces a new three phase quasi resonant DC link soft switching inverter. The auxiliary circuit of the proposed inverter has two auxiliary switches. Two auxiliary switches operate at soft switching condition. Furthermore, all diodes of the auxiliary circuit operate under soft switching condition. The auxiliary circuit is used to provide zero voltage switching condition (ZVS) for the inverter main switches at transition instances. Operating principles, theoretical analysis and design procedure are presented. Also, simulation results are presented to verify the validity of theoretical analysis.
