Abstract :
Adaptive modulation (AM) is an effective technique to approach the theoretical bound of multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) channels. In this paper, a novel AM-MIMO scheme with low complexity is presented, which is based on SVD and aims at minimizing the overall transmission power while the target bits transmission rate and error rate are approached. By taking the quality of services (QoS) requirements into account directly, the proposed scheme is more flexible and makes the cross layer design of wireless network more applicable. At last, the simulation results of proposed scheme under different channel state information (CSI) assumptions are illustrated and analyzed
