Application-based identity management in M2M system

With the rapid development of Machine-to-Machine communication, privacy protection and identity authentication are paid more and more attention to. In this paper, an application-based Identity Management System is proposed, which allow devices with multiple functions to serve different applications with different identities so that their privacy can be protected. These identities can be generated by the devices using an authorized ID without interacting with the provider. A system prototype has been designed and interactive protocol has been presented.
