Abstract :
Growth in the technology has lead to the maximum utilization of the current resources. The advancements in the field of signal processing has emerged as an area in which the better results can be obtained. Amount of vehicles are increasing now a days. Four wheelers vehicles are sold in large amount. This has lead to the large amount of traffic. Classification of four wheeler models can be very efficient in controlling traffic. In this paper the analysis of the acoustic signals of four wheeler models is shown with different sampling rates. The acoustic signals are analyzed in the time domain. Different feature extraction techniques have been found in time and frequency domain.
