  • Abstract
In this paper, we present a combined experimental and theoretical study of the ground and metastable states in micron-size ferromagnetic rings as a function of the ring geometry. Our goal is to evaluate the applicability of magnetic ring structures with their bi-directional ground states for applications in magnetic quantum-dot cellular automata (MQCA) structures.
