Abstract :
With the pervasion of mobile devices and internet connections, more and more people create and share digital content in mobile environment. Some of these contents are involved with personal rights and interests, and Digital Rights Management (DRM) is desirable solution to provide them persistent protection. However, existing DRM schemes are highly dependent on centralized Trusted Authority (TA), which causes cost and privacy problems for individual content owners. In this paper, we propose a decentralized DRM framework that does not need the participation of TA. The establishment of trust between Content Owner and Content User is based on a distributed trust model built in DRM clients. To verify the usability of the scheme, a prototype has been developed.
