Abstract :
EVOH-SO3K is prepared by sulfonation reaction of EVOH with 1,3-propane sultone and characterized by IR, 1H NMR. It is soluble in water when the ratio of hydroxyl in EVOH and 1,3-propane sultone is less than 2.5 and insoluble in water when the ratio is more than 2.5. The EVOH-SO3K membrane is prepared by electrospinning and the electrode-formation characteristic of the membrane is studied. It is proved that there is electro-deformation on EVOH-SO3K film under the electric strength of 156-128 V/mm. The mechanism of electro-deformation is discussed according to the structure and the performance of the material.
